This textbook is an introduction to the science of nanosubstances. The course syllabus includes the concepts of nanosized particles and their properties, the fundamental models of nanoparticle formation, methods of their purification, functionalization and research. The sections “methods of producing and methods for producing of nanosubstance” as usually based on synthesis methods and instrumental base, is used at al-Farabi Kazakh national university where the laboratory works are performed. It is clear that a range of current practices and devices is much larger than is shown in this paper. However, complete and detailed presentation of the material is greatly increased the scope of the course and requires the reader to additional expertise.
